Join us for a trip to Lysøen Museum in Lysefjorden, the former home of Norwegian Violinist Ole Bull.

Lysøen in Lysefjorden is the site of the home of Norwegian violin-virtuoso and composer Ole Bull until his death in 1880. The Ole Bull villa is a unique phenomenon in Norwegian architecture, a blue fairytale castle, and an expression of the historistic style. Ole Bull transformed his island property into a fairy-tale kingdom by having 13 km of walking paths, ponds and gazebos made by planting exotic trees and bushes in the native pine forest. In the highest elevated point of the island, a lookout tower raised in memory of Ole Bull.

The trip costs 100,-. This fare includes transportation by bus and boat, as well as a lecture in the Villa and coffee/tea + waffles in the lunch
