Radio Café
A regular feature on the programme of Student Radio in Bergen is a show called Radio Café. The concept of Radio Café is ‘radio on the road’, where the radio host and studio visit different cafés and clubs in Bergen. Guests from near and far are interviewed and bands perform live on the show.

On Friday August 21^st, a Radio Café will be held during the open day at the Student Centre. Some of the biggest student organisations will be interviewed about what the oppotrunities they can provide you with if you join their organisation. So if you are wondering what to do with your free time in the coming year, the Radio Café may have the answer!

SiB
Many of the Student Welfare Organisation in Bergen’s (SiB) services are located at the Student Centre. During the open day, the different departments at SiB will be at hand to answer your questions. The doors to the sports department will be open and you can try the gym and swimming pool for free. The student café will serve food at Georg Johannesen’s Place (back of the Student Centre) and Studia will hold a book presentation from the stage.

Free concert with Megaphonic Thrift
The open day will conclude with a free concert on the first floor, with a band from Bergen called Megaphonic Thrift.

15.00: Welcome speech from the Chief Commissioner of Bergen, Monica Mæland
15:20: Welcome speech from the chair of the Student Board for Culture, Charlotte Spurkeland.
15.30 – 16.00: Book presentation by Studia
16.00 – 17.00: Open mike for the student organisations
17.00 – 19.00: Radio Café with the Student Radioen in Bergen
19.00 – 20.00: Concert with Megaphonic Thrift, arranged by RF
