Bergen International Music Festival, BIMF, is a yearly festival in Bergen that showcases a large variety of musical genres and expressions with music and musicians that cross borders, both geographically and musically.
This the second year that festival is being arranged, and as with its predecessor, The World Music Festival in Bergen, it works toward making Bergen a meeting place for artists and music from the whole world.
BIMF focuses upon the variation of musical expression and is proud to present a varied program with internationally relevant artists, including many of Bergen’s talented musicians.
Look forward to a diverse week of music featuring Tuvan throat singing, tango from Bergen and Trondheim, improvised chamber music, Palestinian rap, Serbian world music and Indian-European dance. BIMF invites all of Bergen to the festival!
