Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Study Bergen have the pleasure of inviting students to a free classical concert on Wednesday 5th of October in Grieghallen.
This year, none other than Leif Ove Andsnes, the award winning pianist described by the Wall Street Journal as "one of the most gifted musicians of his generation" will be playing Rachmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto.
Loved by the public, Rachmaninoff's 3rd Piano Concerto is often feared by pianists, for the enormous technical demands of the piece.
After the interval, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures from an Exhibition", the perfect piece to demonstrate the breadth of expression of the orchestra.
As a student you are invited to attend this concert for free. Tickets can be collected at the box office of Grieghallen (the red café out side of Grieghallen) from September 5th. There are a limited number of tickets, so make sure to collect yours early, to avoid disappointment.
1 ticket per person, remember your student ID!
The ticket office is open 10:00 – 17:00 (11: 00 - 14:00 on Saturdays)
